The Nature Love Scholarship

Thelma Bunch, aka Nature Love was born on March 25th, 1956 in Chicago, Illinois. She was a woman of many talents; a singer, producer, songwriter and the first woman to fully own a record label and a recording studio on Record row called Foxes and Hounds located in Chicago, Illinois. Nature was a mother, daughter & grandmother with a heart of gold that will be truly missed. A soul that could never be duplicated. Her presence was raw, genuine, and unapologetic. She was a true star. A master mind at whatever she accomplished! Nature inspired so many people and provided opportunities for those that were in need with no hesitation. We are so saddened that the “Dangerous Devious Diva” is no longer with us in physical form but she will remain in our hearts.

This memorial scholarship serves as a tribute to my mother's multifaceted legacy, aimed at nurturing upcoming musicians and aspiring professionals. As my mother embraced various roles in her life, we seek to support individuals who exhibit drive and dedication in their chosen fields of study. A $500 award is offered to 4 deserving students in the United States, intended to assist with academic necessities such as textbooks and other college-related costs. It's a privilege to contribute to our local community, and we hope the recipient of this scholarship will carry forward the spirit of generosity and determination exemplified by my mother.
